Siddaganga mutt seer Shivakumara Mahaswamiji is likely to inaugurate this year’s Dasara celebrations at Mysore.

Cooperation Minister G T Deve Gowda told reporters in Bangalore on Monday that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has already invited the seer over phone and informed the latter, that a formal invitation in this regard would be sent to him through a government’s representative shortly. The Chief Minister on Monday released 1,000 Gold Cards, having face value of Rs 5,000 each.

These cards will allow the buyers to witness all Dasara related ceremonies inside and outside the Palace.
