Education is the secret mantra for development. We feel grateful for the discipline inculcated in us at a later stage in life. Throughout life, one has to be ‘self-starters’ or ‘self-motivated,’ said Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation Trustee Dr Premkumar.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the full-fledged Science laboratory of the college at the Expert Pre-University Science College on Monday, he said, India is reasonably self-sufficient. But one-third of the population in the country is still below the poverty line. Hence, there is lot of scope for improvement, he added.
Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation Chairman Narendra Nayak said the institution has reached another milestone with the establishment of the PU Science College and the well-equipped laboratory.
The goal of the institution is to strive for excellence and the teaching faculty must become role models as students need some reference, he said adding that the best facilities are being provided in the college.
Trustee Prof Shantharam said lab is important for Science students for it improves analytical ability of the students.
