A Government Urdu school in the City in Marluru region has not hoisted the national flag on Wednesday. 

According to Education department sources, though the  Independence Day was celebrated and sweets distributed to the schoolchildren, the national flag was not hoisted.  Complaints were received by the public in this regard, accepted the sources. “The Independence Day was celebrated in the school and sweets distributed.

But flag hoisting was not done. An investigation is being done regarding this. If it is proved that it was not done then disciplinary action will be taken against the headmaster concerned,” said the Block Education officer speaking to Deccan Herald.
