We should not bog down to the ploy designed by certain vested interests in the political arena, who are trying to divide the country on the basis of religion, said Akhila Karnataka Go Raksha Pramukh Manjunathaswamy.
He was speaking at the Akanda Bharat Sankalpa programme organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishat and Bhajaranga Dal.
Mr Manjunath spoke in detail about the division of the country, its reasons, the aftermath of country’s division and various other facets of the country’s division.
Against this background there is a need to unite our disorganised nation and thereby provide internal security. Being united is essential to combat the forces of terrorism, he said.
For varied reasons the Hindu society needs to be united. Citizens of this country need to inculcate patriotism alongside with religious fervour, said Sri Poorna Prajnananda of Chinmaya Mandir.
