No power supply

There will be no power supply on August 17 from 10.30 am to 2 pm. The areas that would be affected are: Vijaya Bank Layout, parts of Devara Chikkana Halli, Kodi Chikkana Halli and Sarvabhowma Nagar, Mico Layout, Lakshmi Layout and surrounding areas.

Building plan display

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner S Subramanya on Thursday asked all those who are either constructing or renovating the house to display the building plan sanctioned by the local body at the construction site.

The move is aimed to preventing violation of building bye-laws by citizens, according to a BBMP release. Meanwhile, BBMP will open citizen service centres at R P C Layout and Madivala.
