He was speaking after inaugurating an industrial training centre at Sri Hemadri Industrial Training Institute, Murandahalli cross on Thursday.
Trade related training like ITI, Diploma helps youth to be self employed, he said. Hemadri institute chairman S B Munivenkatappa informed about the quality education imparted at the institute. Hemadri institute treasurer H S Harshavardhana was a special invitee.
Principal of Government Industrial Training Center, Kolar, K K Krishnaraj said the institute was providing good training since few years and informed that they have plans to give formal education in the times of competitive era.
Poor coaching for SSLC
The SSLC education at Kolar is not up to that mark and the institution will provide good education to improve the results, he said. R Sumarani conducted the progarmme.
