Admission to  vacant seats

Admissions to a few vacant seats in NITK and other NITs across the country will be held at the Central Computer Centre of the institute on August 20.

According to a press release, the seats will be filled through zonal basis. Candidates who have appeared for AIEEE2007 (those eligible for counselling/state specific) and interested in joining any of the courses shall reach the centre by 9 am on the said date.

They should bring AIEEE Admit card, rank card, qualifying exam and 10th standard marks card along with other necessary documents in original. For details on vacant seats visit www.ccb.nic.in, the release added.

Nippon stall in Mangalore

Maithreyi Colour Creations, an authorised dealer in the products of Nippon Paint Company will be inaugurated at Legacy Complex at Bendoorwell in Mangalore on August 19, informed Mr P Praveen Alva of Maithreyi.

Addressing a press meet on Thursday, he said Venkatramana Asranna of Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple will inaugurate the stall, while Nippon Sales Manager V Nageshwar Rao will be the chief guest.
