N Korean games sets Guinness record
North Korea’s immense “mass games” propaganda spectacle that brings thousands of performers together in a synchronised gymnastic display has been officially named the world’s largest such show, the country’s state media reported on Thursday, AP reports from Seoul.

Woman denied custody of Michael Jackson’s kids
A judge in Los Angeles has denied a London woman’s request for custody of Michael Jackson’s three children, who she maintains are her own, AP reports from Los Angeles. Nona Paris Lola Jackson, 36, had asked a judge to grant her joint custody of Jackson’s 10-year-old son, Prince Michael, and 9-year-old daughter, Paris. She also claims to be the mother of 5-year-old Prince Michael II.
“I feel her evidence fails to establish any genetic relationship between herself and the Jackson-Rowe children,” Judge Robert A Schnider said. In court papers, Nona Jackson contended that “Michael and I are a sexually active couple and have been this way from the beginning.” She also claimed to have written 3,000 songs for him.
