Congress MP Priya Dutt on Thursday visited her brother, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, undergoing six years rigorous imprisonment at the Yerawada Jail here.
Sources said Priya spent an hour with her brother.
However, no details were available.
Dutt is awaiting a hearing on his bail plea, that is expected to come up next week in the Supreme court.
He was convicted by Special TADA Judge P D Kode, under the Arms Act, for keeping an AK-56 rifle and a pistol at his residence in Bandra, North-West Mumbai. which comes under the notified area.
It was all quiet outside the jail, where in the first few days of the actor being lodged there, hundreds of curious people and fans had gathered there.
