Actress Shilpa Shetty has filed a suit in a city court against her Britain-based agent Jasveer Barton, seeking an injunction against his “untrue claims and demands”.
“Shilpa Shetty has filed a case in the city sessions court asking for an injunction against Jasveer ‘Jazz’ Barton’s untrue claims and demands.
“Mr Barton has been sending Shilpa legal notices, seeking a cut from her earnings.”
‘Ridiculous cliams’
This was informed by the actress’ spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar in a release on Thursday. Terming Barton’s demands as “ridiculous”, Bhagwagar said, “By filing this case, Shilpa is protecting herself from Barton’s claims and demands.”
Shilpa has in the past distanced herself from Mr Barton, who claimed to be her agent during her appearance on the Celebrity Big Brother reality show.
