Ambrose’s three-goal effort was the feature of Kristu Jayanti’s narrow 3-2 win over St Joseph’s College of Commerce in the football semifinals of the Spiel inter-collegiate sports fest here on Thursday.

For the losers, John and Kelio scored one apiece.

In the final, Jayanti will take on Christ College, who scored a 2-1 victory over St Joseph’s Arts and Science College.

Dennis and Jony scored for Christ, while David scored for the vanquished.
