Powered by Sachin’s hat-trick, Young Stars, Hubli, crushed UAS 4-1 in a ‘C’ division hockey league tie at the Karnataka State Hockey Association stadium here on Thursday.

Sachin put Young Stars ahead 10 minutes into the game and then increased the lead in the 29th-minute. Sachin struck again in the 38th minute to complete the hat-trick.

Meanwhile, UAS had pulled one back through Bhuvan Ponnappa in the 31st minute before Raghavendra completed the tally in the 45th minute. for the victors.

In another match, Rising Star Hockey Club defeated Falton HC 2-0. Shreyas found the target in the opening minute of the game.

Raghunath made it 2-0 four minutes later as Rising Star held on to the lead.
