The State government on Friday cleared the proposal to construct a residential quarters for High Court judges at HSR Layout in the City, Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said.
Speaking to reporters after holding a high-level monitoring committee meeting in Bangalore, he said almost all proposals related to infrastructure in courts have been cleared.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Law Minister M P Prakash, High Court Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph and many top officials of the Government.

Other proposals that were cleared include filling existing vacancies in the State Judiciary, purchase of new vehicles, granting land for construction of court complexes in various parts of the State and many others, Mr Prakash said.
The chief minister said that altogether 66 proposals were discussed in the meeting and most of them have been cleared.
“Ever since the coalition Government came to power, several of the infrastructure projects that have been pending for many years have been cleared,” he claimed.
