CALL TO YOUTH
Demand rights, fulfill responsibilities: MLC
DH News Service, Vemgal:
The youth should discharge their responsibilities when they demand their rights , MLA V R Sudarshan said.

MLC V R Sudarshan gave a call to the youth that just as they demanded their rights they should also fulfil their responsibilities.

He was speaking after participating in the ground breaking ceremony of the Government PU college’s new building, inauguration of the First Grade College’s office and highschool’s mid-day meal scheme and said just as they ask what the society has given them, in the same vein they should also ask themselves what we have given back to the society.

He then asked the youth to participate in social activities. It was due to the efforts of the legislators and his own effort that a first grade college had been sanctioned. The students of this area should make use of this facility and if they had joined in other colleges they should come back, he said.

Legislator C B Krishnabyre Gowda said, we have made enough progress in the last 60 years after we got the independence. But this is not on the expected levels. The youth should strive hard in this direction for the development of the country, he added.

Though there were several government schemes to bring about equality in the country, it had not reached the people in properly. The reason for this was the administrative lapses, he regretted.

There were many schemes implemented for the development of the constituency and this included Rs two crore tar work which will begin from next week, he said.

ZP member Naganala Somanna, First Grade College principal R Srinivas, Junior college principal K R Vardaraj, leader V R Nagaraj, TP member Udayashanker, GP president Narayanmurthy, ACCMC member Bychappa, former presidents C M Muniyappa, Naganal Muniyappa, T Venkatesh, GP vice president Bhagyamma, vice principal Naganath and others were present.

On the occasion talent awards, note books distribution, felicitation to dignitaries, computer training centre inauguration and other programmes also were held.
