The government has to take swift action to continue the service of K V Shridhar as SP who has been transferred from KGF, demanded Kolar District Rakshana Vedike.
The vedike members submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Ramachandra and pressed to continue his service.
Mr Shridhar, himself a disciplinarian, had contributed to the development of the district within few days after he took charge as the Superintentendent of Police, they said.
Due to his rigorous approach towards the indisciplined forces in the district, he was transferred, the members of the Rakshana Vedike alleged.
The members of the Rakshana Vedike also warned of holding a strong protest, if Mr K V Sridhar is not reetaineed back as SP.
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike district president N Kodandaramaiah, Chief Secretary Medihala M K Raghavendra, Taluk president Prabhakar, district secretary Begli K Shrinivas, treasurer G Muniswamy, P Suresh, Venu, Kanganallur Narayanaswamy, Tower Azim, Refeeq and others were present.
