The three-day international symposium to be held at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from August 22 will provide a forum for information dissemination and exchange, debates on research and practice in earthen structures, building techniques, architecture and building comforts.
The “International symposium on earthen structures” organised by the Civil Engineering department of IISc aims to bring together practicing professionals, manufacturers, building professionals, designers, academecians, researchers and graduate students keenly interested and engaged in the theory and practice of earthen structures.
Dept of Architecture and Civil Engg, University of Bath, U K and Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics De L' Etat (ENTPE ) Lyon, France will also be associated with the symposium.
