Sir, No discerning Indian is prepared to buy the arguments of the so-called Left parties with regard to the nuke deal with the US. This  threat of withdrawal  of support is just  hard posturing  in tune with their consistent attitude. It is only to gain a little more mileage with the UPA and this is bound to pass off peacefully since the Left will finally okay the pact and allow the PM to have his way. In fact, there is a lesson in  this for the Left. We may have to accede to the call of Condolessa Rice  and align ourselves with the USA in order to face the threats from China-Pakistan combine. We do not have the wherewithal to combat a threat  ourselves. It is time Left  understands this reality and their political philosophy.
