Usha Sridhar is having an exhibition cum sale of speciality silk sarees from Chennai. The collection has kanchi silk sarees that have intricate hand-made embroidery, hand painting and block prints.

There is also a touch of kundan, zardosi, applique, cutwork, sequins and mirror work. There are tussars, chiffons, Doria silk, Rasipuram silk and Chettinad cotton sarees in a riot of colours Ivory to pastels to Indigo. Also on sale are silk salwars with ethnic embroidery and designer blouses.

The price range is Rs 900 to Rs 9000. M Vivekananda, a weaver from Periyapalayam is also having an exhibition cum sale of his work.

On display will be a wide range of silk cotton and poly cotton sarees for loom prices. The loom fresh silk cotton comes in vibrant colours like maroon, red, yellow, pink, black, green and much more.

The sarees are block-printed in vintage style. The weaving designs are traditional and contemporary like Pai Madi, Vairavoosi, Ramyan borders and much more. The price range of the collection is Rs 300 to Rs 3000.
The sales are on from August 2 to 7 at Badami Party Hall, 916, 9th Cross, JP Nagar II Phase.
