Villagers must help tent school to come up that has been opened for labourer’s children , said Bangalore Rural Public Instruction Department Deputy Director K Sreenivasalu. Distributing the noteboooks to tent schoolchildren he said tent schools are playing an important role in creating literate society.
Noticing the migrated children reading Kannada, he said teacher B G Gurusiddaiah has done a great job in making these children to learn Kannada in their own mother tongue.
Devanahalli Block Education Officer N Srikantha, social worker Savita, school development authority and others were present on the occasion.
