Cine actor Vinodraj and his mother Leelavati visited the village which doesn't have proper roads and the region that is covered with rocks.  The actors spend sometime in the village as there was no huge crowd to see them which usually happens whenever an actor visits a place.
They had participated in Pratibha Sanmaan programme held in government high school, Julapalya. They shared their experiences of life with the villagers without any hesitation and said the village needs to be developed. 
Even in the midst of poverty, talent can be found in the rural areas. People must utilise the opportunities they get inorder to develop their own place, he said.
Education
 Speaking on the occasion Leelavati said rural people need to be academically educated, only then development is possible.  As competition has occupied every filed,  achievement is possible only through competition. Hence,  the present education system should move in this path, she added.
 The convener of the programme C K Moula Sharif said one should always be faithful to  the birth place.  It is the responsibility of an educated person to develop his village.
Gram Panchayat Vice-President Mohammed Sharif was present on the occasion.
Schoolchildren performed cultural programmes on the occasion.
