From now onwards, Kolar Milk Forum will work as Kolar-Chickballapur District  Milk forum, said  Komul’s previous President K V Nagaraj.
Speaking at the  the function held under the aegis of Milk Co-operative Societies Forum he said Kolar Milk forum has gained Rs 70 lakh profit against the loss that had  suffered Rs 3 crore in the past. Kolar Milk Forum is storing 7 lakh litre milk everyday.  It is selling 1.5 lakh milk pockets on daily basis. Moreover, it is manufacturing 45,000 tetra packs.  “The success of the forum is based on the co-operation given by other directors and officers during my reign”, he said.  
He called on workers not to go for private dairies as they will lose many facilities provided by Milk Co-operative Society.
He said 2 lakh litre milk storage unit will be set up in Gopala Krishna lake on the outskirts of the city.  Moreover, the forum will provide financial assistance to talented students of the societies’ members. JD(s) leader Venkatanarayanappa, Premkumari, Komul Manager Apareddy, Deputy Manager Narayanaswamy, Krishnareddy and others were present on the occasion.
