Deccan Herald - Wooden logs seized, man held

Forest officials arrested a person and seized wooden logs worth Rs 35,000 at Lokavalli colony in Mudigere taluk.
The arrested have been identified as Kumara. Acting on a tip off, the forest officials intercepted a vehicle and arrested a person for transporting ‘honnemara’ logs without any licence. Mudigere Forester Dinesh, Forest Conservator Nonaiah, Suresh, Thimme Gowda, Sundaresh and others participated in the operation.
