Heavy rains lashed the city on Tuesday, forcing the public to remain indoors till late in the evening. Water clogged main roads of Padmanabha Nagar and surrounding areas.
The Met Department says the city received normal rainfall of 16.66 mm till 9 pm. The Agrometeorology Department of UAS said several parts of the State will receive heavy rains in the next two days.
Prof M B Rajegowda of Agrometeorology Department, said dense clouds are moving from Arabian Sea to coastal Karnataka and they are likely to enter southern and northern interior Karnataka and result in heavy downpour.
