Cambodia hold Bangladesh
New Delhi, PTI:

Bangla-desh missed a number of scoring opportunities as Cambodia stole a late equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw in the ONGC Nehru Cup football tournament here on Wednesday.
The stalemate ensured that both sides were effectively eliminated from the race for the final with one match left to go for each of them.
Bangladesh took the lead in the 30th minute through Md Abul Hussain while Keo Kosal equalised against the run of play with a minute left in regulation time.
Bangladesh, who were quite impressive in their last match against India, were clearly the better of the two sides and dominated the midfield.
The team, guided by former India coach Syed  Nayeemuddin, created some nice patterns and threatened the Cambodian goal manned by Pich Rovenyothin in this match, but were caught off-side on numerous occasions by the rival back four.
They had to wait till the half hour mark to get the opener.
Md Alfaz Ahmed curled in a corner from the right flank and it found the head of an unmarked Md Abul Hussain, who made no mistake in turning the ball into the rival net.
Hardly a threat
Cambodia hardly presented any threat throughout the match and Biplab Bhattacharjee was rarely troubled between the Bangladesh posts.
So the equaliser came almost like a bolt from the blue for Bangladesh.
