Women should have knowledge on the processing of fruits and preparing high quality of fruit juices, said Zilla Panchayat Health Standing Committee President V P Shashidhar.
Speaking after inaugurating workshop on fruits processing organised by the Gonikoppal Agriculture Science Centre and Snehaguccha Self-Help Group, he said only when the locally grown fruits are processed, the demand for fruits will increase.
 Women should create an awareness on harmful affects of irated drinks among children.  Gonikoppal Agriculture Science Centre head Dr B Narayanaswamy, Expert K A Devaiah and M K Padmavathi among others were present.
