Without giving it a thought
Trees give us a lot;
Like material for building and furniture
Sports and more such treasure.
Also fuel and fabric, fruits and food
And all that is decent, healthy and good;
What do they ask in return?
A bit of love and attention.
They provide life giving oxygen
Evil carbon dioxide they breathe in;
Oh! they are so saintly nice and green,
They give us so much but never preen.
