Dance on
GP Dancertainment is organising a dance and fashion event called “monsoon masti ‘07” from September 1 from 7pm onwards at The Good Shepherd Auditorium, Museum Road. There will be a special performance by Street Slum Kids trained by the instructors of GPD, performances by over 150 school children and 150 adults from all across the City. Saree Sale

Gujarat handicraft
The Bangalore branch of Gujarat Emporium is organ-ising the Gujarat handicrafts exhibition in Safina Plaza from August 20 to September 2 from 10 am to 9 pm. On display are applique work also done by Kutch craftsmen, embroidery works, wall hanging, cushion cover, tie-and-dye on fabrics like cotton and silk sarees, dupattas dress materials are done in Jamnagar and Bhuj  Mandi of Kutch district. Beads work toran, wallhanging from Saurastra, metal engraving on aluminium and brass sheet metal are from Ahmedabad-Rajkot and Meshana districts.  The products range from jewellery box, photo frame, service tray, key chain stand and many functional items of utility nature like jute chair, jute sofa set also available in this exhibition.
Salon for men, women
Anoo’s  the clinic and salon for men and women will be inaugurated on August 29 at 5 pm by Kannada stars Rakshita and Prem at Koramangala. Anoo’s will offer latest clinical and salon services for both men and women. Workshop for teachers
Sutradhar is organising a one-day workshop on play and early learning facilitated by Latha Madhusudan. The workshop will be experiential and participatory, with play sessions, video and group work.
