Understanding of earth needed
There is a need to understand the earth to conserve, develop and enrich biodiversity, said noted environmentalist Dr Yellappa Reddy, on Sunday.
He was speaking on the occasion of World Kitchen Garden Day at Bio Centre, Hulimavu. He emphasised the need for enrichment and improvement of soil conditions.
Dr Vanaja Ramprasad, Founder Chairperson, Green Foundation, stressed the importance of traditional seeds and methods to conserve it.
