The schools in the district have got an overall 59.2 percent at the evaluation examination conducted by State school quality evaluation organisation recently, said Public Instructions department deputy director Bellashetty.
He was speaking after releasing the results of the evaluation exam and said that this year the results have improved by 17 percent.
A learning movement will be held all over the district under ‘Schools in Karnataka towards quality education’.
Under this scheme, attention will be given to each student by teachers. Also guidance will be given for teachers too, he added.
Mr Bellashetty asked the co-operation of leaders of the community and members of SDMC, in this regard.
Block Education Officer R Ashwathaiah, Nodal Officer T Krishna Murthy, Block co-ordinating officer M Suresh, Shiva Murthy, president of primary school teachers association taluk unit Hanumanthappa and others were present.
