'Nage habba' enthrals
DH News Service, Tumkur:

The ‘Nage habba,’ recently organised by Kalpataru Sneha Balaga was a total success. This programme was arranged in aid of helpless artists.

In the habba organised at Dr Gubbi Veeranna Kalakshetra many VIPs were present. Regional Transport officer M Nagaraj inaugurated the programme and said, laughter kept everyone happy. In the light of this such programmes were very appropriate, he added.

These days man was undergoing lot of stress. Laughter was the best medicine to remove stress. Hence the adage laugh and become light. Everyone should learn to laugh freely. One should not flare up for small reasons and instead learn to laugh about it, he said.

Rotary Club past president T R Sadashivaiah highlighted the importance of ‘Nage habba,’ and said through such programmes, people can forget stress for some time at least. Hence it was important to laugh to one’s heart’s content.

Dr Jyothi Swaroop, T P Nataraj, M N Krupakar, B H Vasudev and others were present. Well-known humourists had the audience in peals of laughter.
