An accused in a scam case, who had swallowed a knife three years ago while in Germany in a bid to prevent his extradition to India, said on Tuesday that he has no problem.
Asked if he felt any discomfiture with the 8 cm knife in his stomach for the last three years, Mr Ghosh nonchalantly said, “I do yoga daily and lead a normal life, I feel no problem at all.”
Ghosh who was brought to Kolkata for facing charges of defrauding nationalised banks of over Rs 27 crore, said he had also given lessons to convicts on yoga during his stay in a German jail. He allegedly defrauded the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu of around US$ 300 million and brought down the government there.
