Adnans parents blame media for his death
Mumbai, DHNS:

Parents of a teenage boy, who was kidnapped by his Orkut friends for money and later murdered in panic on August 19, on Tuesday blamed the media and the police for the death of their son.
The sixteen year old Adnan Patrawala was in regular contact with his friends through the social networking site Orkut and was kidnapped by four of them on August 19. The kidnappers demanded Rs 2 crore ransom from his parents, but when the news of kidnapping began flashing on all channels, they panicked and strangulated Adnan to death.
Adnan’s parents, in a surcharged tone demanded that stern action be taken against the police official who leaked the kidnapping to the media and also that the kidnappers be hanged to death in public.
