The four Advanced Diploma Programmes being launched by the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology are:
1. Advanced Diploma Programme in Design in Education
Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology introduces a two-and-a-half year, postgraduate-level Advanced Diploma Programme in Design in Education that can re-examine the relationship between Design and Education.
The course will cover the three intersecting and over-lapping fields of arts and culture (with primary focus on folklore and folk traditions), the new sciences (with primary focus on the environment, ecology, and new biology) and the spoken and oral traditions of our culture and its primary medium of communication - our language (with primary focus on Hindi and Kannada). For 2007-08, the Design in Education programme will focus on the areas of Art, Science and Communication.
Students of the Design in Education Programme may emerge as
1. Professional Educational Practitioners or Teachers who can work across a wide range of elementary grades, of needs and/or within community based learning contexts.
2. Designers of educational materials who can develop, in a range of media and languages, content that has universal value and local and contextual relevance.
3. Curators and/or Interaction cum Exhibition Designers, who can create or curate exhibitions, festivals, and other interactive learning environments especially for children.

2. Advanced Diploma Programme in Experimental Media Arts
Students who have completed an under-graduate degree or diploma in the Arts, Architecture, Hard Science, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Business are eligible for entry. If the candidate is not an under-graduate, 2-4 years of professional experience may be considered as an equivalent to an under-graduate degree/diploma. There is no age requirement for entry into the programme. The requirements for applying to the programme are an application form (available at http://cema.srishti.ac.in) with personal statement and a portfolio of work or writings. Appropriate candidates will be invited for a personal interview.

3. Advanced Diploma Programme in Game Design and Interactive Media
Students specialising in Gaming and Interactive Media will follow a multi-disciplinary approach to explore these and related areas. The focus will be broader than just being limited to commercial games and will extend to the areas of convergence between gaming and disciplines such as education, music, environment and other technical and arts fields.

4. Advanced Diploma Programme in Animation and Visual Effects
The program inculcates strong conceptualisation, storytelling and digital animation skills in the student. The learning environment is one where the student is enabled to think critically and perform as part of a collaborative team. project-based learning, research skills and crossing of disciplinary borders is part of the program approach. The mode of teaching is via facilitation and mentoring, industry interface and multi-disciplinary team work.
Students who have completed an undergraduate program (diploma or degree program) in the Arts, Architecture, Science, Engineering, Computer Programming, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences and Business are eligible for entry. If the candidate has not completed an undergraduate programme, 2-4 years of professional experience may be considered as an equivalent. Candidates who have drawing skills and experience and a passion for the arts have an advantage. There is no age requirement for entry into the programme.
Communication skills in English are essential.
