Deputy Commissioner G Ramachandra visited the town and reviewed various developmental works.
The Deputy Commissioner after meeting the KSTRC officials discussed the transfer of Rashtrakavi Dr Kuvempu bus stand to Andrason Pet. At the same time, the Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the basic amenities at the bus stand at Andrason pet.
He also met the action committee who had called for the Bandh on Tuesday and assured that private buses will be made available in the bus stands from September 1 onwards.
He also said that the development works of Gundappa road, drainage and a mini lalbagh work undertaken by the City Municipal Corporation will soon be dedicated to the people.
City Municipal Corporation Commissioner G G Padmanabh, Planning officer K N Narayana Gowda and City Municipal Corporation Commissioner executive engineer L Jayaramiah and others were present.
