In a joint raid conducted on several shops here, the City and new extension police recovered pornographic CDs that were being circulated and sold.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of SP Harishekaran and DySP K M Arifulla on the shops in MG Road and 9th Cross, New Extension. Sub inspectors Dinesh Patil, Moiuddin and their staff conducted the raid.

Mr Harishekaran has warned that in the future strict action will be taken against any shop where such CDs are found. He has also warned the autorickshaw drivers who are using adulterated petrol to stop using it immediately or else action will be taken against them too.

Traffic sub inspectors Nagaraj and Muniraju had already checked a few autorickshaws in this regard and taken action against them, he said.

He warned them that in the future if they were found using adulterated petrol or kerosene, then stringent action would taken.
