By unleashing a range of 3 wheelers, TVS also marked their entry into the three wheeler segment. “We will manufacture these vehicles in two stroke, petrol, CNG and LPG versions at our green field modern facility at Hosur , which was set set up with a cost of Rs 125 crore, with capacity of 1,00,000 units per year,” Mr Srinivasan said. Scooty Teenz electric, targeted at women is the company’s first ever electric scooter. The scooter is purely electric, with 800 watts power and maximum speed of 40 kph. It has maximum range of 50 km per charge, and has a long battery life and maximum utility space, claims the company.
