Towards a more professional realtor fraternity
The Bangalore Realtors Association of India (BRAI), as part of its efforts at bringing about greater professionalism and better practices in the segment, set up an office at Copper Arch, Infantry Road.
“This is the first step towards working for a more transparent and professional realtor segment to cater to the changing needs of this dynamic city,” said Farook Mahmood, President, BRAI and Managing Director, Silverline Realty Pvt Ltd, on the occasion. BRAI is in the process of collaborating with the US-based National Association of Realtors, USA, to enable real estate business between its members and realtors in the US and globally.
The association also has plans to hold regular workshops and seminars to help their members stay in touch with the changing dynamics of the property business. BRAI will be initiating educational programmes on a variety of property-related issues to keep the realtors abreast of local and national developments.
These programmes will throw light on issues such as merits of integrated development, implications of hardening interest rates and changing comprehensive development plan stipulations. BRAI is aiming for a realtor fraternity that understands the essence of the trade, delivers global standards and sets a new high in best practices.
