In a new avataar

Satya is describing the beauty of the girl whom he saw for the first time to his friends through a song 'Lovely Lovely' which will be sung by Adnan Sámi. This scene was being shot in HMT auditorium, Jalahalli Road, when mediapersons visited the spot. 'Satya' is none other than Shivanna who is getting ready to enthrall cine buffs with his new avataar. 

Hopeful producer

Ramesh, the producer shared his bitter experiences in the Industry. “The so-called popular directors are ready to work for US based Kannada producers, but they say 'no' to local producers,” he said.

According to the producer 75 per cent of the shooting is completed. Only 25 per cent remains. The budget of the movie is expected to cross Rs six crore. He also expressed his desire of producing long-awaited historical movie 'Amoghavarsha Nrupathunga'- casting  Shivarajkumar in the lead role. . “I wish either Vijay or Renuka Sharma can direct the movie. I said ok to the movie even without knowing the story, I have full confidence in Shivanna."

Other attractions

Genelia of 'Bommarilu' fame is making her debut as a heroine into the industry, opposite Shivanna. Gurukiran is all set to score half century as music director with this movie. He has composed the music for the six songs penned by Manohar, Kaviraj, Hridaya Shiva.

Raghava Lokhi, the director of the movie said, “It has been shot in Switzerland, Hyderabad and Chintamani. Telugu technicians have been used to make the movie technically rich and standard. Of six songs, two have been shot abroad.  It also has two beat songs.”

Telugu artistes JP, Narasimha Reddy, Shekhar are also in the cast. The audio will be released in November, while the movie is expected to hit the screen in the first month of 2008. Be ready to welcome 'Satya' in new year-2008.
On director’s chair

Hatrick hero Shivaraj Kumar will turn out to be a director in the coming years. This has been his long-awaited desire. He said: "The plan is still alive. If I direct the movie, I won't act. I want Appu  (Puneet) to act in my movie". Sooner or later we will see Shivanna as a director. His upcoming films:  Maadesha, directed by Ravi Srivatsa, Gandana Mane. He will be working with Naganna in a movie which is not yet named.

New faces

'Munni — Anybody who crosses the limit has to repent' was launched on 27 at Shridi Saibaba temple in RT Nagar.
Mangalore based Anoop playing the lead role is making foray into the industry. Shimoga based Bhaskar a familiar face in soap operas also making an entry in to the industry as second hero.

Sai Kallesh who has worked with renowned directors namely A T Raghu, Josaiman, is all set to make his reentry as an independent director in the movie. His other films-Rosha, Nagara Mahime, Jeevana Chaduranga. Raju Upendrakumar has scored the music. Rathnashri Soraba is trying her luck in the industry playing the lead female role in the film, a family entertainer as the director asserts it. Munni is the name of the hero-ine in the movie. Jayalakshmi, senior actor, plays  Anoop's mother.
