Office-bearers and members of the HMT VRS Employees Association met Siddaganga Mutt Seer Dr Shivakumar Swamiji, in Tumkur on Friday and sought his blessings.

General Secretary of the Association H G Narasimha Murthy has informed that they invited the Seer to attend the Guru Vandana programme to be organised by the Association. The Guru Vandana programme will held at SIT Birla auditorium on August 12, at 5 pm.

Union Minister of State for Planning M V Rajashekharan, Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes, Minister for Land Transport K H Muniyappa, Chairman of the Central Administrative Reforms Commission M Veerappa Moily, Special Representative of Karnataka Government in New Delhi Mahima Patel, Minister for Sericulture Sogadu Shivanna, District In-Charge Minister C Chennigappa, MP S Mallikarjunaiah, former MP G S Basavaraju, MLC V S Ugrappa and other important personalities will be present at the Guru Vandana programme.

A preliminary meeting of the members of the VRS Employees Welfare Association will be held on August 5. The meeting will chalk out the plans for the Guru Vandana programme. It will held at 10 am, at the Mahatma Gandhi stadium, informed Mr Narasimha Murthy, in the press  release.
