The All India Astrological Conference- 2007 was inaugurated on Saturday at the SSMRV College in JP Nagar.
Union Minister for Planning M V Rajashekharan, who inaugurated the conference, said, we might have made tremendous progress in the field of Science and Technology, but still there is much to learn, particularly the effect of planets and cosmos on human body and civilisation.
He remembered how scientists go by the astrological calculations before testing missiles and rockets from their test centre in Orissa and achieve success rate.
“Russians are amazed to see the success rate of the test launch of the Indian rockets and missiles. They could learn later that the Indian scientists too go by astrology regarding the date and time of the test launch. Now Russians too are testing astrology to get the desired results”, the union minister said.
