He was born on a new moon day and committed murders on full moon days. A drug addict and psychopath, Girish Babu (25) of Potter’s Colony, Kalasipalyam loved watching horror films in English and the WWF on television. Now he is cooling his heels behind the bars as his fifth victim survived and gave details to the police.
He had killed four people--two construction workers, one auto driver and a daily wager worker--by smashing their heads with boulder. He had used force in a couple of cases.
On July 29 night, Girish befriended a person in a hotel and had dinner with him. After that Girish took him to Potter’s Colony and smashed his head. However, the victim was admitted to Victoria Hospital with serious injuries. Based on his information, Girish Babu was arrested. A court has remanded him to judicial custody.
