Workers’ stir

Tumkur, dhns: The on-going protest staged by Government Textbooks Publishing Centre Workers urging the government to regularise the service since one month will continue. Moreover, they have decided to stage hunger strike infront of deputy commissioner office, said the Association President D Seenappa.

Villagers’ protest

Tumkur, dhns: Kallambella villagers have planned to protest against the private factory which has not given jobs to local people, under the aegis of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike on Monday. Villagers, activists of KRV and office-bearers will participate in protest, said a release.

Valedictory function

Tumkur, dhns: The ongoing programme Ashaadadalli Anubhaava Pravachana and Sampurna Basava Kalyana Darshana  under the aegis of Basavakendra will come to end today.  The valedictory programme will be held in Vidyodaya Law College premises,  instead Basavakendra at 6 pm.

Sri Basavamahalinga Swamiji will preside over the function.  Sri Basava Bringeshwara Swamiji, Sri Marulasiddha Swamiji, Sri Basava Basavaanu Swamiji, Sri Basavanagideva Swamiji will deliver the lecture.
