Two Indian Institute of Management (IIM) students got drowned in the local Choral river last evening, 20 km from here, police said on Sunday.
Police said a group of four IIM students who were on a picnic and two of them who were sitting on a rock between the river, were swept away in a sudden swelling of the river.
The bodies of Delhi-based Nitesh Agrawal and Hyderabad-based Neha Singh were fished out on Sunday morning.
The students’ parents have alleged the IIM management for the accident. The police has registered a case in this regard.
Two students of a private dental college were also drowned in the river on Aug 2 and their bodies were recovered much later, the police added.
