Students opted for three courses at three engineering colleges will have to appear again for the casual vacancy round, as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has cancelled all the three courses.

The AICTE cancelled telecommunication in MS Engineering College, Bangalore, Medical Electronics in HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore, and Instrumental Technology in KNSIT, Bangalore.

Students who have opted for these three courses in these colleges will have to once again go for casual vacancy round.

The courses were cancelled in these three colleges as they allegedly failed to provide the required infrastructure.
