The Davangere district unit of Congress Seva Dal will organise three programmes in August, revealed the unit’s convenor L B Hanumanthappa.
He was addressing a press conference here on Monday.
On August 9 in Belgaum, the Dal will organise a programme called ‘Kranti Divas’ to celebrate the 60th year of Indian Independence.
More than 50 persons from Davangere will take part in Kranti Divas in Belgaum.
On August 15, Independence day will be celebrated at Shamnur Shivshankarappa’s office.
On August 20, the birthday of late PM Rajiv Gandhi will be celebrated at the orphange in Batigram village.
