Gowda trio unite in the skies
DH News Service, Tumkur:
The trio of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy and Minister for Public Works H D Revanna shared a helicopter ride to Hassan from Kunigal.

The Gowda family and the first family of the JD(S) party came together under a strange circumstance on Tuesday afternoon. The trio of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy and Minister for Public Works H D Revanna shared a helicopter ride to Hassan from Kunigal.

H D Kumaraswamy and H D  Revanna were on their way to Hassan for a private function in Hassan an were travelling by the  helicopter. Devegowda who was also on his way to the  same function has opted to travel by road without knowing that his sons were also headed there.

Circumstances were worked out in a way that Gowda sr joined his  sons in Kunigal were the copter made an unscheduled stop to pick up its illustrious hitch hiker.

A large number of people and party workers gathered at the Kunigal Government college where the chopper had  landed to greet their leaders. The Gowda family did not  disappoint the crowds either and kept waving them.
This is the first time in Kumaraswamy’s tenure as the Chief Minister, since he ‘revolted’ against his  father to form a coalition government with the ‘communal’ BJP,  that the father and sons have had unscheduled meeting.

However it remains unclear as to why the former Prime Minister chose to join his  sons mid way when all of them were headed to the same  desitination.
