Hundreds of Cong workers join BJP
DH News Service, Bangarpet:

Legislator B P Venkatmuniyappa has said that since people are satisfied with the various development works taken up in the Bethamangala assembly constituency, the party workers of various political parties were now showing interest in joining the BJP.

He was speaking at a simple function arranged at his residence on Sunday wherein hundreds of Congress workers belonging to Sundarpalya in the taluk joined the BJP and said, everyone should cooperate in the development works without doing any politics.

During his term he had taken up the implementation of development works on the importance of the projects and in the coming days he would strive to work harder, B P Venkatmuniyappa  said.

He called upon the party workers to work unitedly to see that the candidates selected to contest in the local bodies election announced were elected.

He also asked them to bring to the notice of the people the popular programmes taken up by the coalition government.

APMC director Muniswamy Reddy, BJP youth leader Malleshgowda and others were present.
