Vyakti Vikas Kendra Information Centre will celebrate ‘Health and Happiness Week’ in DK and Udupi districts through organising Art of Living Mega Course from August 13 to 19.
Speaking at a press meet here on Wednesday, Instructor Ela Shankar said during the period the course will be organised simultaneously at A J Hospital and Research Centre, Devikripa Hall near Mangaladevi Temple, Sri Gokarnanatheshwara College, Gandhinagar, and Navagiri Kalyana Mantap, Hosabettu, Surathkal in Mangalore; apart from Jain Basadi Hall, Puttur; SCDCC Bank Hall, Belthangady; Ganesh Kripa Hall, Ujire; Shiva Kripa Hall, Sullia; and Sri Gurudeva Sabha Mandir, Bellare.
In Udupi district, the course will be organised at Mahalingeshwara Temple, Brahmavar; Venkatramana Temple, Tenkapet; and Samaja Mandir in Moodbidri. As the first step into the Art of Living, the course cleanses toxins and deep rooted physical, mental and emotional blocks from the body. It synchronises the mind and body through rhythmic breathing.
Spread over six days, it is a simple yet profound programme, offering practical spiritual knowledge and deep meditation through a lively interactive process. The Art of Living centre is spread over 146 countries and over 20 million people around the world, irrespective of age, gender, caste, creed, religion, economic and social status have rejuvenated and totally transformed their lives, she said.
