A forensic laboratory in Andhra Pradesh will send its report on the computer hard disks seized from the home of Bangalore-based Kafeel Ahmed, a suspect in the botched terror plot in UK, to the Karnataka Police by the end of this month.
“We received two high-capacity hard disks a couple of days ago from the police in Bangalore for examination and are de-coding the data,” a source in the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory told PTI on Wednesday.
“The process of de-coding the data has commenced and a report would be sent to police in Bangalore by the end of this month,” the source said.
Kafeel Ahmed last week succumbed to burn injuries sustained when he tried to drive a burning jeep into Glasgow airport.
