Bharathi Nanjundappa President of the Bangarpet Kannada Sahitya Parishat unit has been selected for the Kannada Sri award given by the Kendra Sahitya Parishat.
The award has been given in recognition of the Bharathi Nanjundappa’s contribution in the field of culture and literature. She has also worked with many pro Kannada organisations including AKKA for the development of the language.
The award will be given at the Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at Udupi on December 15.
Kannada Sahitya Parishat’s Ram Prasad, Kannada Sangha's President Pallavi Mani and others have congratulated Bharathi Nanjundappa.
